The boys don't have school today because of parent/teacher/student conferences. I think it's great that in this school children participate in conferences. They get to have lots of input, which helps them feel important and like they are helping with their schooling. They are glad to have a day off! Unfortunately, I forgot to NOT set the alarm this morning, so I got up early anyway. That's a bummer 'cause I stayed up late watching tv last night. I can't usually do that, but Shawn wasn't home so I could watch what I wanted and I found myself surfing. Boy, there are some really weird shows out there!
Our little valley seems to be keeping us warmer today. According to the thermometer downtown, which is on my homepage, it is 6 below, but here we are at 6 above and we are getting lightly snowed upon. That's a little bit strange. It's pretty snow 'cause the sun is shining through it since the whole system isn't over us, it's kinda off to the side.
After lunch we are going to the dentist. The boys each have an appt - they are NOT happy about it!
