So far, this week seems to have been devoted to our little pets and making sure that they have better quality homes to live in. Dad & I finished up the new double-decker guinea pig cage yesterday. This morning the boys (there was no school today) carried it in, outfitted it with feeders, waterers & shavings and put the piggies into their new homes. They seem to be comfy...

I finally completed the new bunny cages too. The bunnies were in temporary quarters in the garage, so this is a big improvement. Each of them has a nice cozy little wooden house to snuggle in this winter. Dad originally built them for nest boxes for my bantam hens, but they will work perfectly for this purpose as well. Daisy came to meet Airplane Bunny and check out their accommodations.

Sound asleep!! Lily & Tillie spend lots of time pulling hay out of their feeder - which drives Daddy crazy - to make these warm and cozy beds....zzzzz....
