Basket for Grammie

Last weekend Grammie asked me to make her a new egg collecting basket. Not an actual 'Egg Basket' because she doesn't have that many hens and it would be too big, but rather something smaller. Here's what I came up with! Isn't it pretty? I hope it's what you were looking for, Grammie!

Finally, after almost 4 years of trying, (I can't believe she's that old already! I remember when she would fit in the palm of my hand!!) I got a portrait of Aly...

Later on, Aly went into the bathroom to watch her favorite show on our 'Cowboy TV'. She watches that fish for hours and hours...

Tomorrow, bright & early, I leave for Equine Affaire!!!! I cannot wait!!!! I'm meeting some of the team penning girls and we are driving down together, bunking up in a couple of hotel rooms (there are like 8 of us!) and partying all weekend, while enjoying all the awesome horsey stuff that will be there. It's going to be amazing to see several of the top trainers in the country demonstrate their techniques and browse through all the products that the many, many vendors will be selling. Yippee!!!!

Dad and the boys are going to be on their own for the weekend....I wonder what kind of trouble they will get into.... ;-)
