The 2nd and 3rd grade classes took a field trip to McLaughlin Gardens in South Paris this week. I didn't have to work until later in the afternoon, so I was able to chaperone. 
We saw some beautiful flowers...

I couldn't believe it when my picky-eater son volunteered to eat a violet! He didn't like the taste, but he swallowed it anyway...
